About Inner Annealing Psychotherapy
Annealing refers to the process of taking that which has been intensely heated, then engaging in a measured cooling process until stress and fragility are lessened, stability is increased. In the psychological sense, it can be thought of as the way people sometimes get overwhelmed in life, then engage in a process that moves them toward greater flexibility, strength and resilience. It can be helpful to have a compassionate, ethical, experienced, culturally humble and highly-trained therapist who knows how to work with the intense heat as well as the cooling process.
